The top and left panes have colorful icons for the various tools, and a set of pull-down menus and pop-up dialogs let you control your illustration. The interface is surprisingly clean and easy to work with. SketchUp for Mac lets you create surprisingly complex and detailed 3D models, but there's a learning curve to doing so. SketchUp for Mac is a free app, but there's a Pro version for additional cost with more features and capabilities. SketchUp for Mac installs easily but was not available from the App Store when we tested the software, instead requiring a download from the publisher. It’s only SketchUp 2022 that requires extensions to be natively compatibility with M1.SketchUp for Mac is a 3D design app that allows you to create 3D models and, using an online service, get those models built. Skatter can still be used in SketchUp 2021 on your M1 Macs (because SU21 runs in legacy mode, so does Skatter). But when you purchased it, we only guaranteed compatibility with current SketchUp version and Mac hardware at that time. I understand that you want to use Skatter with the latest SketchUp version and the latest Macs. This takes time, especially since Apple dropped this without much warning to the developer community. This is brand new hardware technology and the whole software ecosystem has to adapt. Skatter uses dependencies that were not all compatible with M1 several months ago.

We are really sorry that it took so long. We now have a working version internally, we need to test it thoroughly to make sure it works correctly, and some polish is required. In the past month, Merwan has done quite a lot of work on Skatter to make it compatible with M1 Macs.
